Haven't you folks learned that embryo = post-conception = PROPERTY of the Female, until you cut the cord?

Betty, I mentioned your cat's problem to my wife. She's the animal person. A friend of hers had a cat fall off a banister and blow it's hip socket on one side. They did the femur head deal. Took a good two weeks to heal. Cat didn't want to move but they urged it to move after 10 days. Needed to get it moving. A long two weeks.

A tip from having a dog with bad hips, towels. You can loop a towel under the animal's stomach to support it when it poops. Just pull up enough to take some of the weight off.

I hate having hurt animals, they don't understand why they hurt or that you are helping them.

Here's a plus. After Butch had his surgery and he had healed some I took him swimming to strenghten his leg without having any pressure on it. He got out too far for his condition. My old dog Bud, who I miss even now, swam out and kept hitting Butch in the head with his tail. Butch finally bit down on Bud's tail and Bud towed him to shore.
