<< Yeah. Our government would NEVER do something like that to it's own citizens. >> I would love to see our government be more effective and make fewer mistakes. That isn't going to happen. I also feel that we have problems with our government. There is a small band of rabid Republicans that will do almost anything to get their way. These few conservative radicals are a big threat to our Democracy, but I don't see the American people giving them any more power (I hope). I own three guns. I don't live in fear of our government, unless I get a speeding ticket or get stopped after having a few beers. I expect my government to protect me from crime and terrorists and the breakout of diseases, etc. While they haven't done a great job, they have done a better job than most other country's governments.
