From another source:

"My firm is CIBC International in NYC. i got a phone call today from my broker that i got him hooked on QCom. THE KING. Now he told me today that their analyst went to the meeting with Qualcom for the presentation, and he came very impressed with the company particularly when they have a plan to sell their handset telephone production because the analyst said that they represent 48% of the revenue and only 2% of the profits. Very significant. Its the same as if intel will produce chips and build the boxes. By the way, the analyst for Telecommunications for CIBC is a new one. 75% of the stocks he recommended to the firm are on the PROPHET'S list. Yesterday, CIBC moved from buy to strong buy on QCom. And, lifted target price from 185 to 250."

Labrador,

<< Can anyone shed any insight in the how CMDA ties into the internet -- are we talking data capabilities? [I thought GSM handled data] >>

I'm confused. GSM handles voice. GSM handles data. GSM handles IP. GSM has for some time. GSM will handle voice over IP. Nice to see CDMA finally handling data. Certainly worth waiting for.
