There are places for the thin client and places for the fat client.

The places for the fat client however are primarily in the past.

There is enough supply of 'end user' fat clients on desktops right now to satisfy *that demand for years to come.

Given the bandwidth, I've personally got 3 PCs (apart from my Linux box) that I've got no use for. How about you?

Dear Junior: I dont disagree that MSFT as A COMPANY will likely continue to prosper, BUT, if it loses its MONOPOLY position I have trouble seeing it holding onto its current PE ratio so the shareholders might suffer. Personally, at this point in time I consider MSFT riskier than SUNW. JDN
