Then why's she arguing with you? That's another good question. Why, after 3 months, would a woman then decide to abort? Does it really take more than 3 months to make the decision? I like to argue, I don't get emotional about it. So even though we disagree, at least I can see where you are coming from, and hopefully you can see my pov too, whether you agree with it or not. Pro-choicers always seem to fly off the handle, which is why I hate this argument. I state my point and next thing you know I'll be one of those conservatives she wishes would go over to the Bill Clinton sanity check or truth about waco so I'm not disturbing the liberal element here.

No I didn't feel emboldened as you say... I don't expect to ever hear any of these right wingers agree that a woman has a right to control her own body... I would like them to acknowledge that it is control they are after and not some philosophical respect for "life"... but most will never do that. Abortion laws in the next few decades will only affect the poor I suspect. Wealthy women will just travel elsewhere to have abortions... this is just one of those things like outlawing religion in the eastern bloc... you can pass all the laws you want but if people don't trust the objective of the law they aren't going to abide by it.
