according to merril, pasternak told analysts that their earnings estimates (.37), were a couple of pennies (interpreted to be 2-3 cents to aggressive). this was direct guidance to a 34-35 cent q.

Gary, I didn't attend the conference. I heard that KP said something about the impact of lighter volatility and volumes. There were no specific presentations. He was part of a technology panel.
