If the people don't watch the news, the news doesn't make any money from advertisements. Our entire system depends upon funding, from religious causes and scams, to the automobile industry to the stock market, etc. What are you doing on a stock market BB if you are against capitalism? Do you prefer a government run system versus a capitalistic system? How about Russia's economic system. Is that the way you would want things run in the US.
