Dave, you said

Since I was restating your premise, I agree with you. I'm not into conspiracies.

You were mis-stating my premise. Now I'll go very slowly because I understand your a marketing guy. Someone wants DDR. I surmise that because the DRAM makers wouldn't be making it or preparing to make it if they didn't have some sort of order pipeline. Nor would Samsung state that for the near term the hi end will be split between DDR and RDRAM. Now you as a marketing guy should pick up on the fact that Samsung has no self-interest in promoting DDR, unless they have customers for DDR that they need to keep happy. We here on SI, have not heard definitive word as to who is going to use DDR. My premise is that it's because boxmakers and companies like Samsung prefer not to issue PRs on a subject which Intel likely has sensitivity over. I'm quite sure Intel knows exactly who will use DDR but we do not. We simply hear rumors and see vague comments in the boilerplate of bond issuances. My premise explains why we have heard no definitive word and my opinion is that the first definitive word we will hear will be shortly before product is shipping. I also don't believe in conspiracies Dave, nor do I believe in falling in love with a stock or in sticking my head in the sand. Rich
