We've already had a televised murder. Recall that the venerable 60 Minutes show gave us the spectacle of Dr. Kevorkian (aka the Big Fun Guy) killing one of his patients? clients? victims? I would have thought our first televised murder would come from a less prestigious program, but it serves to illustrate the cultural descent. I don't want to get too cynical, but the precedent has been set, we will get a televised execution sometime down the road.
