Susan G: GREAT post. The emotional problems and the concommitant stress we ALL feel at times when our positions go again us can be greatly reduced by buying/shorting a smaller number of shares. Decision-making for me, and I suspect many others, tends to suffer when prices don't go our expected way. And Jenna's comment about using stops to limit losses meshes nicely with your post.
