The margin requirement that you cannot use the proceed from the sale of a stock you held overnight to buy the same stock that day is a NASD rule for daytrading accounts. I'm not sure if that applies only to customers at direct-access daytrading firms. Maybe someone can explain this?

I like the improvements Datek made. Now if only I don't have to refresh my browser every 15 secs to see if my order has been filled!
