Mike: As you know, I have been very much concerned that the Q keep its "hand in" the future as I see it - wireless data handsets (i.e. the "new" handheld computer/communicator). How that is done is open to many approaches.

It may well be that the Q can keep its "hand in" without an in house handset division. Clearly at least the financial leadership within the Q thinks so. I hope that the "scientists" - first and foremost Dr J - think so.

The point I keep trying to make is that so far we simply do not know what is being specifically proposed re the "sale"?

I suggest there are a few basic unanswered questions still:

What is being "sold" ?

To whom?

Why? (means to end? if so, what end?)
