Dear Tiquer, have you not found good support from the LINUX community for Star Office?

I've always heard that if you have a question about LINUX all you have to do is post it on the web, and you'll get a quick response.

Today, my husband registered for a free version of Solaris which includes a free version of the new Star Office. He's been using the older Star Office version.

He also mentioned to me that there is a site that trouble-shoots questions about Solaris. I'm not sure if that site is on the web or if you have to log onto Sun.

I will ask him if you are interested. Perhaps someone here knows.

Cheers,

Mephisto

PS: He bought a manual on Solaris. He checked the parts that I am suppose to read! <VBG> and Very Big Laugh!

They could have done a better job with the entire 'support' end of this release, although I can imagine that the support wave after 250,000 downloads (primarily end users) in two weeks pretty much swamped the StarDivision guys, who mostly speak German <g>.
