Or should we teach acceptance and tolerance toward that as well to our children>> We taught our kids not to use drugs and happily they do not use them. But we did not say don't use drugs because drugies are bad people. We told them how drugs can screw you up and possibly kill you. We never judged the users. So according to your reasoning if you condemn the homosexual than homosexuality will go away. Look at history, homosexuals have been persecuted off and on for centuries and they are still here. The real danger I see is if you tell your kids that gays are bad people and one of your kids turns out to be gay then that poor kid is going to go through hell because he will think that his father hates him and/or that he is a bad person. This probably will not happen in your case but I guarantee you that it is happening continousily acroos this country. As a result of people that think this way we have a high rate of suicide amongst gay teens and people living in the closet and a society that thinks is ok to discriminate against gays.
