I'm not sure where the reference to military intervention plays in the waste of thousands of young people wandering the country with broken minds, so I'll take your word for it.

As to the Spanish civil war, the anarchist revolution was doused more from within than from without. Especially in Catalonia, which was practically an anarchist Spanish state, the resulting crackdowns by the Soviet influenced Communists spelled the end of not just Spanish anarchism, but *any* Spanish revolution. And paved the way for Franco to win the war to boot.

You really are much too cynical Gustave. Perhaps you have an issue with authority, or responsibility? An overbearing mother in your past? Tell us what your therapist says Gustave.
