There was another slightly different story which quoted an Ericsson spokesman along the lines I referenced (or maybe my memory is just bad). Will try to find.

In meantime, I stand corrected. Ericsson has no interest in entering the "mobile" business? Huh?

Really?

Why?

Does "handset business" = "mobile business" in Swedish? Curious.

Guess my point remains, why rush out and proclaim that you are totally disinterested in what your new associate (from whom you just bought their infrastructure business) is planning to sell?

What is the point?

How friendly and warm and fuzzy is that? Not very.
