Well, one thing is certain, the tactics being discussed here are best performed under the cover of "darkness", because it allows for maximum FUD(Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt) to occur amongst the participants. And once FUD occurs....well, the equity price responds accordingly.

But because this equity is basically thinly held, and the folks who hold it unusually knowledgeable of the company's equity movement "profile" and situation(when compared against most equities where the tactic has been run), it makes negative floor-less+FUD harder to implement, and most definitely harder to maintain. A parenthetical aside here, perhaps Zeev, et.al., did the bulls a favor by continually pointing out the negative aspects of the floor-less, because it certainly sensitized everyone to the possibility, so much so that more than a few of us were heavy on the 'ol Level II watching the big boys run the game. This in and of itself reduced any chance of FUD occurring. Just some thoughts.

So, C.C. took their shot(perhaps, although I wouldn't be surprised if the company itself ain't somehow implicated since SOMEBODY besides meself has picked up some juicy shares at fire-sale prices), and gleaned such shares as they felt appropriate to their strategy. The rest they've kept in reserve for future hedging.....gee...who'da thunk THAT out'ta a HEDGE FUND, eh? ;-)

All we've got left to watch unfold is the official pronouncement of N.I. plant being ready, and of course that Valhalla moment of p.o. announcement(s).

Now let's see how it goes today..

John~

Rich and Paul. What you are suggesting is Castle Creek may have boxed its short position and possibly sold the long shares they had acquired over the spring to drive the price down last month. I think this is what you are saying:-) Seems possible to me, but I'm not sure of your point, since the results would seem to be the same as if the shorted to drive the price down.
