A reprint of Alyce's entire post about myphotocard:

My Photocard is a wholly owned entity of Mycard a wholly owned entity of TSIG.

Darrell Piercy is still emplyed by My Photocard as a so-called consultant. With this employment arrangement Gordoon thinks it gives him some distance between Piercys past and TSIG.

There is a belief that Piercy still adds a dimension of creativity to the marketing mix, and I would venture to say Gordoon sees a lot of himself in this charlatan. Moreover he knows he's severley lacking in implentation skills at the street level and he also probably feel Piercy is a ticket to getting the job done at the street level.

My sixth sense also tells me that Gordoon has quite a collection of, er, shall we say ...information about Piercy, and feels he has some control over the dirtball.

A true executive can easily seperate the dishonest people from a company regardless of their other talents. It's a black and white situation for competent management.

It's this kind of continued bad judgement that plagues Gordon and disqualifies him from ever being associated with a public corporation. Keeping a slimepit like Piercy around has nothing to do with compassion but when you see Gordoon for what he is you better understand his incompetence and dishonest tendencies with this one act.

The Photocard will probably never make much money for a number of reasons, mostly because they don't have the management ability to keep a tight rein on DP and the numbers. They'll drift on this and before you know it it will be gone.

The Musicard is where it's at and will be the moneymaker throughout the next 12 months, most notably in the next few weeks towards the beginning of Novemebr. It's happening now and they, IMHO, do have a relatively good handle on it. They could use more help and they have fallen off their proactive contacting of the schools but it's gotten a life of its own, imho as it races forward.
