They are similar, in that I do not rely on the press reports for my opinions. I truly think that this countries success is founded upon the fact that publicly traded companies must be audited. This enables a foundation of trust between the investment community and the innovators of this country. As such, I also think that the governmental accounting and auditing departments do a fair job of evaluating the adequacy of the efficiency and effectiveness of our government. In the case of the justice department, they recieve failing marks on a consistent basis. Their recomendations are consistently ignored. Do you think that the GAO really has a political motive for their opinions? I don't and I take their word for it that this administration is run very poorly. And without proper internal control, things like Waco are the result. That is the rosy picture. The one that smells is where all the lies come in. Your eager acceptance of and propagation of these lies may seem to you to be your patriotic duty. But I think that in the long run, it is an attitude that is injurious to the health of our nation. Just as a corrupt CEO will devastate a company, a corrupt CIC will devastate a nation.
