QTRN is doing a number of interesting things outside from the pure CRO stuff:

1. They have an innovative contract with CVTX to market their cardiovascular drug candidate. Basically they are playing substitute big-pharma here, thus giving biotechs an alternative to partnering late-stage products.

2. They are aggressively trying to integrate information from payment info into their product sales. Thus on a sales call, they have a good idea what a particular doctor currently prescribes. They also get regional info, so know where to concentrate sales effort.

3. They are using the net a lot - e.g., link with Dr Koop to enroll patients for trials. My guess is that they will also use their insurance info to do recruitment for trials. They are also using the net for insurance verification and payment.

So I kind of view them as a hidden net play.
