Remember also that EXDS is stuck with the older equipment including older routers whereas att can set up the new JNPR routers that, in addition to being 40 times faster, have a high 'bandwidth density' making it cheaper, real estste wise, to set up the routers in high rent districts also.

Of course EXDS can do the smae in their new installations. So unless they have fully depreciated the older equipment, EXDS will be at a disadvantage.

Of course all this has nothing to do with their stock price which follows its own set of rules for inuts.

OX ... who are AT&T's current customers they are servicing from existing data centers ?
The article / newsbyte also states the AT&T announcement mirrors similar moves arch rival MCI Worldcom has been making the last 18 months. I don't doubt Intel, AT&T,MCI Worldcom pose a threat to the EXDS business model but in this new economy speed is king ! I've worked with AT&T and they have good people but their entire business moves at a snails pace. I've never met anyone in the organization with any sense of urgency so until they actually turn on the lights at these data centers and sign up EXDS customers I'll stay put.
