Yeah I did scroll the post headings for a glimpse of this cyberride.

I love a good storm and have been in many off the West Coast Washington and Vancouver Island. I had a boat I was driving lift off the water three feet and set me down 15 feet away in 100 kt winds with gusts of 125.
But when a storm the magnitude of Floyd or Gert reach places that seldom get big winds it sure can be devastatingly dangerous. The buildings and tree's just are not built for that.
I hope our families and friends along the East Coast use extra caution, levy knows this, expect things that could never move to fall or fly! Play it on the safe side!
The satellite pictures are absolutely amazing of all this.
