Hi Jan - I've been extremely busy lately - I've been hit with a rash of business and have not had as much time to follow the market. I've also been on the road quite a bit

I currently have two short positions - I shorted EBAY on Tuesday and then added to it yesterday, and I shorted YHOO this morning (in the black on both of them at the moment - more so for EBAY). I'm going to try to hold the shorts through at least tomorrow, and possibly Monday. I think EBAY has the capacity for a major decline - but of course, now that I have said this, it will most likely go up 10 points.

At several points over the past two weeks, I thought about going long some of the internets - AMZN, YHOO or EBAY - but I just couldn't bring myself to do it (missed a nice run up). I don't know if what we have seen in the market this week is an indication of the start of another major decline like we saw in April and late July - or just a short term pull-back. But I'm ready to cover my shorts at the slightest indication of pain.

Looks like you've done well by holding AMZN and YHOO. Any other stocks you like at the moment?

Thanks,
-Eric
