<Actually isn't Intel building a gadzillion Coppermines right now? DOn't they need a full set of OEMs by xmas to avoid a massive amount of chips sitting around? >

Pulling in the schedule to October has helped and, Athlon motherboard problems clearly will help some more. However, this late in the game, I am not sure if CuMine will have much impact for Intel for Christmas. Most Christmas builds are done by October/November. Direct guys of course do it a little later than traditional guys {Dell is the leader at the high-end so that is a great asset for Intel).

IMHO, the highest shipping speed bin for Intel is probably going to be PIII-500/550 for the next quarter. They will sell some CuMines but unlikely to be much - I will stick my earlier estimate of about 3Mu ships for Q4.
