Hi Blankmind,

you are not worried about couch starting the clev game? also the stats from the clev-pitt game were amazing:

I am worried a touch about the Browns scoring since I'm giving up 16.5 pts, but how many pts could the change of Qb make(my famous last words >gg<)? They had next to no rushing yds so if they move the ball, it will be through the air. Barring injury, I expect the Titans to put just as many if not more pts on offense than Pit did as I think their offense is better...even if it is 1/2 as good they still score 30+ points. If you play fantasy football, play your Titans.<imo>

Best of Luck, Where'd He Go?

Hi Blankmind,
I'll take Seattle -4.5 at Chi.

Seahawks Comments:

'Tez and Sam should be spelled by their more-than-adequate backup tackles, so on the plays the two are in they'll have that much more "burst."

I didn't see much if any subbing at the DTs last week and thought Holmgren was a platoon-oriented guy at that spot.

They should throw a quick slant or two, and instead of running just one screen, they should probably run 4 or 5 per game.

If they can get another mismatch with Dawkins against a short DB, they should exploit that in the absence of Galloway. They could have exploited last week's matchup at this position a bit more, although if you extrapolate Dawkins' first game out over a season you get around 1500 yards, over 100 catches, and 32 TDs... but then as well I suppose the Seahawks could be 0-16 if he gets those season stats!!

I've heard that the Fullback will get more carries this week. Apparently he's on the level of a Bettis with better hands, according to RB coach Stump Mitchell.

Watters needs to catch more and run less.

Again at defense, what was once a deep linebacker corps is going into this week without Chad Brown. Myles is also out. That leaves them with little depth.

It will be nice to see if rookie DE King gets in there a bit this week; he was nursing an injury last week. 290 lbs with a 36 inch vertical leap!!

The main question is this: Can the Seahawks break what appears to be a decade-long curse and actually win a game they're supposed to win?

The slogan is "it's NOW TIME." Someone called the local sports station and said, "I think it's 'HOW TIME' as in 'how in the hell did they lose to Detroit?'"

Taking nothing away from Ross and his team, that's probably a good question.

FWIW
