Inktomi has projected revenues of 44 mill for Y99 and a project loss of about 50 per share or more...It currently has the same market cup as NOVL or higher.

Obviously the market thinks that the chances of INKTOMI to improve its lot are excellent and no doubt its rate of growth is much higher than NOVLs...<ggg>

Caching is a new line of business for NOVL, for what we know it is fast becoming a major source of revenues and NOVL is partnering with CPQ, DELL, NEC, IBM..eventually this will be reflected in the market's valuation of NOVL..

Talking Up Novell....

>>What will it take for the mkt to talk up Novell like Inktomi??>>

Novell's vision is still cloudy to many people for we are still in the very early stages of this paradigm shift.

Inktomi is playing catch-up and doesn't want to be left behind.

IMHO, Novell is a great buy at these levels. The decline to these levels has recharged the inventories of longs who are willing to stay for the ride beyond new highs.

It takes evangelism to crystalize Novell's vision:

Here's my shot:

Novell: More energy. More control. More added value.

Peace.

GO!!
