Even if the victim asks for it, it still acts to desensitize the viewing public. That is the danger. Besides, I thought he said that was only setting a precedence to televising an execution?

Doesn't count if the victim ASKS for it

One of his customers was a lady who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, but was not suffering the effects yet. She played a round of tennis the day before the suicide/killing. I'm sure this lady was despondent over the news she had just received. Yes, she asked for it, but wouldn't the right thing to do have been to show her some compassion and help her through that rough period, not run in there and help her kill herself?
