You too? That trick works 90% of the time... they're at a crossroads, they lose the commission and they can't outwait you for that extra 1/16 or 1/8 so often times they'll fill you in-house. SF

Sosmartinov, I have done the smae thing many times and amazinly it suddenly got filled...now sometimes I'll do it on purpose just ot test the broker..have had it happen on Datek and Schwab...I can't be a coincidence every time. cog

just reading posts i missed today sf and bam! there you go readin my mind again... sure as shootin thats the way to get those limit orders filled instantly.... especially if the stock has started down when you change the order... they are always slow to their own advantage and quick to our disatvantage....sometimes to an exasperating and costly degree.... why dont we pool resources and set up a gemmer execution station? do it right for the "small fries" out here in the real world. robert minshew
