<< Big time Anti-drug people who sop up scotch all evening ... >>

And then take white powder up the nose while making stricter laws against social drug usage.

<< ... not because she's a good teacher, but because she's an 'elite' or goes to the same church or her daddy is the bank president. >>

In the companies that I have work(ed) for, you needed to go to the same church, play tennis, socialize or participate in a pyramid scheme to get ahead.

I would think that parents would want the best teacher, not an "elite" teacher. That surprises me. Good teachers are worth their weight in gold.

<< This creates 'cliques' of kids that are 'alike' and despise and taunt anyone that is 'different'. THAT is what caused Columbine (IMO). >>

I agree somewhat. But....... there are trouble makers, that don't fit in, in each and every school. They criticize and make life difficult for the students that want to learn. There is a lot of pressure from the "bad" kids in school, for the good kids to do bad.

I remember the bad groups when I was in school. You had to be nice to them and kiss ass or they would beat you up after school or steal your lunch money.

I'd be willing to bet that the trenchcoat mafia rejects in Columbine were outcasts of their own choosing.
