Regarding momentum,

I once took a look at trading by the turn of momentums and found that it is only useful combined with other PnF signals. The life span of a momentum is about 12 weeks. If you buy a stock that has been 12 week positive momentum you would want to watch it or maybe wait for a pullback. If the momentum just changed to positive and the chart confirms a good buy, it is a good time to enter.

You don't have to stay away from the stocks but maybe monitor them for pullbacks if the momentum is at 12 weeks or above.
