I find the thought of an abortion very repulsive, although I am totally in favor of women having control over their own reproductive systems, rather than politicians having control. That said, when you look at it from Heavenly or religious view, rather than a human view, it paints quite a different picture of abortion, and in fact, makes an abortion a good act rather than a bad act. The Anti Choice mob doesn't want to give up on their anti abortion crusade, regardless of conflicts with their basic religious beliefs, because then all they would have to do then, in their spare time, would be to go home and pull wings off of flies and beat their wife and children. <g>
