That would be interesting. I am betting that they do not because I doubt if they have the systems sophistication to separate the free ones from the paid ones as they expire.

Hi Doug,
I enjoy reading your detailed analysis for Ebay.
What do you think about Priceline's model as compared to that of Internet Auction model like Ebay in terms of B2B and not one to one commerce.
Once Priceline creates a successful brand, it can leverage that brand to do B2B commerce for e.g:-
- Smaller travel agencies using Priceline to sell airline tickets to their customers or
- Rental car companies buying new cars from Priceline,
and so on...
