Yes, PC2100 is named after the bandwidth of the module, not the data rate. 133 MHz * 2 edges * 8 bytes = 2100 MB/s.

Maybe Rambus should rename their RIMM PC1600. But you can be sure that they won't because 1600<2100. Which might cause some people to start thinking.
