Thanks for the link. Quite interesting.

I see that Sucralose has some interesting properties. First off I notice that they say it is approximately 600 times sweeter than sugar. But I didn't see any where on the site how that stacks up on the dulciness scale as compared to Touch of Nature.

The other thing that I found striking was its formulation:
Splenda® is made from sugar through a patented, multi-step process that selectively replaces three hydrogen-oxygen groups on the sugar molecule with three chlorine atoms.

Maybe if they stir some hydrochloric acid into the Touch of Nature they can arrive at a similar formulation - assuming it doesn't explode first.
