Sure did, thanks! Not only does Rambus require expensive new testers, extra die area that's more expensive cause it has to run at 400MHZ, otherwise unneeded heatsinks, harder to engineer motherboards, and bigger power supplies, but from the tone of that article, it's also going to need new, more expensive designs for memory circuit boards and connectors.

Why go to all that trouble and expense when you can get better performance with DDR using existing, low cost connectors etc?
