Brian - That is great news! I don't own Lucent at this time but I am pleased to see the stock doing so well because It is a vote of confidence in Lucent and the telecom equipment sector. This news confirms that. Ken

Has anyone heard more about the new laser thru the air device (Wave Star Optic Air) to transmit data. There was an article on it back on July 14th. I was wondering how the cost of microwave transmission compares to the cost of laser thru the air transmission. If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you know if they experience any problems with atmospheric conditions like smog, or clouds, etc...please post this information. Thanks, JW
