- Cardiff Software Grows 449% in Just Five Years; Joins QUALCOMM, HNC Software, and Peregrine Systems at the Top of Prestigious Deloitte & Touche
'Fast 50' for 1999 - SAN DIEGO, Calif., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardiff Software, Inc. today announced that company revenues have grown by more than 449% in the last five years, making it the fastest growing supplier of software applications that automate the data and document capture processes from forms and applications. The company's explosive growth was recently confirmed and recognized by the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, which has named Cardiff to the "Technology Fast 50," a list documenting Southern California's fastest growing technology companies, for the second year in a row.
"The 'Fast 50' rankings provide a benchmark of how well companies perform in both the private and public markets," said Dennis Clerke, President and CEO of Cardiff Software. "Our 24th place ranking in 1999 shows that Cardiff continues to outpace our direct competition, and continues to be a innovative leader in the technology arena."
The Deloitte & Touche "Fast 50" rankings were announced on September 12, 1999. Cardiff Software moved up into 24th position from 26th as noted in 1998. Cardiff was ranked in the list of the top twenty-five fastest growing companies, along with QUALCOMM, HNC Software and Peregrine Systems, whose growth outpaced some notable public companies, including Gateway, Inc.
Over 20,000 organizations, including companies like American Express, Kaiser Permanente and Worldcom, have selected Cardiff products in order to eliminate the costs associated with manual processing, and to put information online -- resulting in a more productive and competitive organization. Cardiff customers often see a complete return on their investment in automated solutions within weeks or months.
Cardiff Software is the fastest growing vendor in the information capture market segment, responsible for more than 70% of new installations in 1999. Much of this growth can be attributed to Cardiff's innovative development of online capture solutions including HTML+Forms, introduced in 1997, and in partnership with Adobe Systems, PDF+Forms in 1999. PDF+Forms has received numerous industry and customer accolades, including "AIIM Best of Show 1999" award by Imaging and Document Solutions. PDF+Forms was second only to Microsoft Office 2000 in "Best of Comdex -- Productivity Software" at Comdex/Windows World '99, surpassing more than 70 other products for the honor.
Cardiff Software's rapid growth is driven by more than just superior products and innovative use of Internet technologies. The company has also invested heavily in European operations, and recently announced that Cardiff Europe has exceeded growth projections in its first 6 months of operation.
