I haven't done the gainers yet. How long do you keep using the same starting stocks? I suppose that's arbitrary. Every Monday <g>

That JPM is terrific.

Thank you for the concept, and for pointing to a new tool.

Dorothy

p.s. and thanks, Stefan, for setting this in motion!

Hi CLINT!

you said:"You need two lists(one for gainers & one for loosers) if we want to sort based on price."

I actually made 3 list:1)with all stocks 2)gainers 3)loosers

And just to repeat:
we sort gainer and then reduce list by half(the stronger ones) and we sort loosers and reduce list by half(weak ones).

Question:As far as i understand this right, we want to go the loosers long and the strong ones short. That sounds first funny because normally you want to go the strong ones long and weak ones short. But i think you use this as a overbot/oversold concept since all stocks are actually strong. Correct?

Thanks for bringing up a new idea!!

Stefan

HI CLINT!

Haven't looked deeply into the charts of all these stocks but one thing made me curious: if i look at the performance of yesterdays LOOSER list compared to the WINNER list it's quiet interesting that the yesterdays Looser produced more Winners today the yesterdays Winner list.
I guess that's what you were going after.
The question remains: 1)When does the process starts? and 2)how long do you shuffle them? and 3)how do you come up with the intial list? and 4)will the list be reset at some time and the process starts over again?

I know i'm curious...thanks for all the sharing.
