Wonder if anybody has ever tried this...I"m trying it to see what I can do..thought it would be acool thing to try.. FM .. am I crazy? ------ To: Alloy.com New Way of Advertising I have an idea that is mutually beneficial for the two of us. At my school, we have to raise $2000 for our Brain Bowl Trip..not much, but it got me thinking of an interesting way to raise money. I'm not into this stupid donut selling and candy stuff, and am into the stock market and business, so I was thinking.. You all are targeting the young generation of anything under 25. So I was thinking, why not use my school as a "testing" ground for advertising directly to the target audience. My school is about 2000 kids. That is not bad for a target audience to 'test' on . Start a page like alloy.com/nfc (nfc being my school) and you can see how many hits you get. If it proves successful, you can move into bigger schools and make alliances there... So, what I was thinking is that we could make a swap. You support the Brain Bowl team, and we put up advertisements for you in your desired areas..of course, with approval. You could come and place them strategically. But, you give the Brain Bowl team $2000. IN the end, it costs nothing to you. We can give you a tax-write off and bam! you have practially no cost and a free 'test' zone. We might even be able to take your name down there with us to the competition...in West Palm Beach. THat is MAJOR exposure for you all...talking thousands of parents, kids, students....all that have computers...and are into this generation y thing. I think it would be great for both sides of the deal. Please let me know your thoughts on this. BTW, by looking at your last balance sheet and cash statement, ya got PLENTY of cash.2k is a drop in the bucket..especially if it is tax-defferable. :-) last filing showed $4 million if I am not mistaking..THis could lead to huge things for you all..Would make a nice nice Press Release! (closing stuff)
