I think the paranoia will diminish in direct proportion to the number of deals that get announced within the next few months. When the ad deals start coming in you can rest assured that we've "made it." You know, I heard Yahoo was raising the costs of its ad space and I find this rather amusing. Have you ever clicked on one of those banners and actually bought something from the site? Not I. And the present state of commercials on TV leaves a lot to be desired too. Have you seen the commercial where the workers are encouraged to get to know their fellow employees by touching their "space" and the guy picks the other guy's nose? I don't even know who it is a commercial for because it grosses me out so much I immediately turn it off. Now what brainiac approved spending money on that?
