Robert, "Nevertheless, we all have our biases"

players with biases do not survive.

Robert, Re: The Sky is Falling

You tend to see the extremes in emotion at critical points in the Market. For that reason, I tend to not want to review this thread at these times when the Market is open. Just watch the charts and they will tell the story.

IMHO today was an absolutely classic reversal of key support levels. I mainly focus on OEX and +/- 685 held for the third time, and the reversal was dramatic. Over time, I've noticed that true support is often defined by the big bounce. It's when the stock or Index hovers around key support (particularly with decreasing volume) that red flags should go up.

Don has been saying for months that we are simply in a trading range with dramatic moves in sector rotation. I would simply add that it has a negative bias. Be neither a bull or a bear; just sit back and have a brew while speculating what the Market is next going to do. I'm still making my share (and probably some others) of mistakes, but I learn. Just know where we are on the chart. Don't anticipate, but just react to what the Market is doing.
