Saturdays: Where I stand; On Crime in general: for any type of thievery, 1st conviction, shave all body hair, strip all clothing, paint body bright fluorescent color that remains for 30 days, escort through their neighborhood and before their families. 2nd conviction-any offense, same as above plus amputate one hand, cauterize well, disinfect, release. 3rd conviction, same as above plus one foot. 4th conviction, amputate his hard head with a rope. Maybe draw & quarter. Betcha' he wouldn't try for a 5th. Punishments involving physical mutilation should be tried by the public (see On Capital Punishment) Conviction for violence against another should be eye for an eye. And, yes that includes sex crimes. Rape someone, we paint gorilla estrus on your butt and throw you in the cage. Abuse a child (see On Capital Punishment) After less than a year, guess which way the crime rate would go. Sure it's harsh. But we've tried the Horse Whisperer's techniques for about 2 generations now, and that doesn't seem to get their attention. We need to get their attention!
