FORTUNE's Street Life comments on new DELL TV commercials: MEANWHILE DOWN IN ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.... Young Michael is of course trying to move into the consumer market and Gateway's turf with his new TV commercials. Blue shirt, lookin' good, all right. Not too much of you. All right. So our Pattie Sellers was talking to Internet Goddess, Mary Meeker, about those very commercials the other day. Here's what she said: "I had pushed Michael Dell to include himself in an advertising campaign for five years. I said, 'Michael, come on! You're a global superhero! And your name's on the company! Use it!" His reply was, "But I'm just a guy." Ah not quite, Mike. Not quite. Thanks, Pattie!
