Regarding Stops, I try to break up my stops into different prices, a point or so apart. Even if the last one is the low of the day, the other pieces will have executed above the low. And if they don't all get taken out, then you still have part of your position left for the next jump.

As far as a Stop getting triggered below the day's low, it is possible that the broker took out a small piece on ISLD at the stop price, in order to trigger the stop. I'm not sure if they would have to print a trade of only a few shares - does anyone know if that is the case? (Sounds like a Steve Goldman question.)
