It is interesting to me that the MU chart for the first half of September 1999 has some distinct parallels with the second half of November 1998.

In both cases there was a strong run-up from a low, an apparent double top, then a sharp drop and rebound on exceptionally high volume.

Didn't look too promising technically at the end of November 1998. Of course, we now know that MU proceeded to double from that point within 60 days!

Could happen again. MU's hypeability is higher now than it was then. I.e., you have to be less gullible now to believe that they will soon be rolling in dough than you did then.
