Cringe - Re: "This ain't the K6-III, you can purhcase a system from Best Buy and take it home the day you buy it. " I thought Best Buy only had one "low MHz" IBM Athflop per store - and were "taking orders only" for prospective customers. I also heard that not many orders were received. Paul

When last seen at Best Buy, the Athlon system was a demo that you could watch but not "take it home". You could only order a system and wait. It appears that the problem in finding motherboards that will cold boot, makes it hard to build anything but a few testing samples and demo systems.
