The negative sentiment also tells me we are close to an upside move. Most people who believe in the stock are still in and most who were on for a quick ride are off (IMO). We will see upside in the next couple weeks as we get closer to earnings from YHOO and the other internets. AOL has already confirmed that there will be no dissapointments. Steve D.

It seem to be the same thing evey month during options expiration. The stock has a "bit" of a runup, then starts to taper off about 1.5 - 2 weeks before options expiration. What I have been doing for the past several months (well, OK, now, for the past 2 months)is to sell the covered calls for that month basing my strike point on the most heavily traded price point. This resulted in taking in another $6,000 in August, and another $10,500 for september (AOL september 100's, Ebay 160's, Dell 50's, etc...). I still believe in AOL long term, but if things don't start to turn around, then I guess I'll just have to consider CHINA.COM, EBAY, as a better short term investment.

Good luck to all,

David

AOL to $100 is "stock currency" to do megamergers including FREE ISP services and competition head on into Internet appliances/Teleco appliances like NTAP products versus MS-CE "junky" operating systems for cellphones and appliance, AOL will be JAVA and Linux (Unix) type systems that plug right in and are compatible with the entire internet server network. That is why we are now bottoming and should rise. I agree $100's short term is where AOL belongs, and Blodgett today affirms AOL still top picks, Meeker and Blodgett never removed their $200 targets either. AOL version 5.0 is rolling out, and will beat the other e-business solutions.

P.S. expecially for Xmas gadgets cf. with IDTC and NTOP and NTAP "convergence" gizmos that are rolling out soon.
