Ike,
All the companies on the net are not worth 1% of MSFT because Softie is a powerful monopoly with fat profit margins and complete control of its market, while the net is hundreds of companies in cutthroat competition with no pricing power and no margins. (Plus a good percentage of so-called net companies are simply stock jobbing schemes.)

Ike, I think the only ones who will prosper are those with must have software for the net. Eventually, the Dell's, Gap's etc. will only sell when they lose money on each item.
