I meant to add to my analysis that the pendulum could always overshoot, and thanks for doing so. Even so, the analysis helps me better understand why it is where we are.

I just read in the WSJ that ECNs now acount for 30% of nasdaq volume. Is this true? Does anyone know what the monthly growth has been? ALso if NITE becomes a market maker for ECNs is it not possible that there volume will go up but their margins will go down?
