Should be a pretty powerful open:

08:55 ET: Stage has been set for a positive beginning as both the futures and bond markets are moving higher, helped by a resurgent dollar and a report in the Washington Post from influential journalist, John Berry, suggesting there will be no near-term Fed rate hike given recent payroll and inflation data... S&P futures now +7.80... Equivalent gain in Dow would be 55-60 points... 30-yr bond +16/32 at 6.05% as the Berry article has overshadowed the stronger than expected 0.4% increase in Housing Starts... Notable stocks on the move in pre-market trading include Adobe Systems (ADBE +6 1/2; positive earnings surprise); Liposome (LIPO -8 1/2; FDA rejects its breast cancer drug, Evacet), and eBay (EBAY -7 3/4; Wall Street Journal report of growing competition from the likes of Microsoft, Dell, AtHome, and Lycos).
